Last Night & Goodbye

On our last night Mark took Jesslyn driving (with us in the car!). Then we played at the beach for a bit. I tried to figure out the night settings on the camera but it was prettier in real life! Then we went to dinner with dad at his favorite Mexican place. Again, not common to have us all together. It was so fun to just be together! After dinner we watched the rest of the Sugar Bowl!! (Hence the red sweatshirt the whole day!) I don't think my dad knew I am such a football fan! I was such a great game!!!!!
Go UTES!!!
Rayla becoming a UTE!Our flights (Josh was leaving too!) were pretty early in the morning but the girls still came with us. (Jesslyn, Aleesha, and Rayla L to R)It was so sweet of them, they were so sleepy!
After the goodbyes we flew back to Vegas. Then we drove to St. George and got to spend an evening with Matt & Marcee and family. And of course, what is a visit to St. George without a trip to In & Out Burger?

Uncle Justin & Family Pics

Dad took family pictures of all of us but hasn't sent them yet....
I'll show them when I can see them :)
We got the chance to go out to a late lunch with our Uncle Justin. The girls had never met him. It was so much fun to introduce the two parties. I knew they would really get along.Rayla and JustinMark and Jesslyn.
She had us all make New Year's resolutions in the car on the way.
The fish they called Mark?

All of us!

New Year's Day

On New Year's Day we got a wonderful visit from these people! Aren't they cute? This is Mark's sister Joyce, her husband Lance, and little Jeremiah (he's not going to be the baby much longer with a little brother on his way!). They live in Olympia and came to visit for the day. It was so great to see them! We miss them!
We had a special gift for Jeremiah from his Grandma Edwards.

Yep, a rocking horse. Look how much he loves it! We were supposed to drive for the visit but since the roads kept closing, (due to weather) we flew. We didn't want to leave the rocking horse behind. We fit him in our largest suitcase and in our others we fit our Wii, Wii fit, and some fun games. Here we are enjoying them:

Everyone else enjoyed watching the games and Jeremiah!

Uncle Mark doing his donald duck.Fast friends! Look at those smiles!Taking a ride on Bo..
We went to dinner with mom. It's been a while since she has had all five of her kids in the same place. These are some of the shots from dinner:
Do you see Jeremiah's white flag of surrender!
Josh LOVES pictures....
After dinner we went to best buy. Jesslyn got to hold Jeremiah. She was afraid! I don't think she's spent much time around little ones and she thought she would break him.

In the end they turned out to be pretty good buds.

What a great way to bring in the new year!!

Party!

Parent teacher conferences were this week. So I, of course, kept busy at distracting myself from all that I needed to do by working on yet another installment of our New Year's Trip (Yes, I am a couple months behind but... at least I am posting!) I didn't get the time to finish it so here it is!

Jesslyn & Rayla threw a New Year's bash. We got to pretend we were teenagers again. That is until about 1 in the morning, when we remembered we were exhausted adults.

The spread.
Hair & Make-up?
DDR
Marine Big Brother meeting little sister's boyfriend for the first time.... He actually brought a sword and a bat. Dad wouldn't let him use them though...

Happy New Year!
